Storiel Entertainment is a film development and production company based in Vancouver, BC. It was founded in 2022 by writer, director & producer Ariel Bond.
As a filmmaker, Ariel’s goal is to adapt films based on true stories that shed light on women’s issues and act as a catalyst for change. In her directorial debut short film RUPTURE, Ariel adapted a true story about her personal experience with an ovarian cyst rupture, calling attention to the issue of the Gender Pain Gap, or how men and women’s pain are diagnosed and treated differently.
Ariel has 10+ years of experience working in the entertainment industry, starting in sports and public television, then big-budget Hollywood feature films such as PETER PAN & WENDY and SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME.
In 2020, Ariel earned a spot as an Academy Nicholl fellowship quarterfinalist and she’s also a recipient of the Leonard & Eileen Newman Prize for a Promising New Writer. She has a B.A. in Screen Arts & Cultures from the University of Michigan.
